Cosmetic Tattoo
Removal generally involves the adoption of
laser technology. It is achieved by passing specific
wavelength of light created by laser into the body.
The light energy is rapidly absorbed by the tattoo
ink, causing it to break down into tiny particles
which are then removed naturally by the body’s
filtering systems.
Depending on the type of tattoo ink used and the
depth of which the ink is found in the skin, removal
of tattoos can take between 4 to 8 treatments, which
are spaced approximately 6 to 8 weeks apart. In most
cases, fading of more than 95% of the tattoos can
be accomplished, though sometimes additional treatments
may be needed to produce significant fading.
At Hair & Face Clinic, we adopt laser technology
which emits light in very short pulses to achieve
a relatively low-pain treatment experience for patients.
In many cases, treatment does not require anaesthesia,
though it is provided should the need arise.
